Independent Remedial Treatments Surveyors are different
from damp & timber preservation contrators in the following ways:
We will usually provide a much more thorough and objective inspection and report on your property detailing what treatments or works if any, are necessary.
An independent remedial surveyor will not be looking to secure a contract of works, but to provide you with the correct information and advice.
If remedial works are essential we will supply a full specification and state how much the work should cost from a reputable contractor...which may be a PCA registered specialist, builder, plasterer, bricklayer, electrician, roofing contractor... it is our job to advise you accordingly....
We understand that it is not always easy to find an appropriate contractor and therefore we can, if required point you in the right direction with regard to locating the required services... Although we have no connection with any contractor company.
An independent survey and report should give you peace of mind and could save you time and money.
There are currently less than twenty PCA/BWPDA registered independent remedial surveyors in the UK!
